It's finally done!

This was made entirely with The Gimp.

I'm not overjoyed with how Roy Mustang turned out, but Edward turned out better than I'd hoped.

The sparkles and glowing lights are my lazy-assed attempt at roughing out (and glossing over the details) a glowing, active, transmutation circle. It's highly stylized and airbrushed with fuzzy (Re: Non existent) details, but it's intentional. The red blob around Ed isn't blood; it's supposed to represent his taboo "aura."

Mmm. This was fun to do. And anyone who hasn't read "Number Twenty Eight" really SHOULD. Like, right now.

Except that Roy reminds me of L. But he still turned out great.

This is absolutely astounding. I love your chimera!Ed, he just looks so very right, even if what he was turned into was so very wrong. Never the less, I love it, I adore it, and I'm having a harder and harder time coming up with words that are synonymous with "I'm a difinte fan of this" as I spew my praises :). With that said, I'm going to go re-read "The Number Twenty Eight" now.

I love the way Ed came out. All other fanart for the story makes him just look bad and awkward, but this pic has style. I love how you did Ed's eyes in the FMA style for things inhuman.
