Link and his giant red bird from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

I have to admit, I have been dying to paint this bird ever since I saw the trailers. This piece is also a bit of an apology for the sheer depressing ANGST of the previous painting.

This was painted entirely in The Gimp 2.4.7, and it took around 6 hours.

This time I went 100% painterly Skyward Sword-style. No lines! I am extremely satisfied with the result.

Totally gonna cosplay Skyward Sword Link for A-Kon 2012. Yup. No idea how to make chain mail, though. Or sew. D: I guess I'd better learn, huh?

EDIT: Fixed the top of the bird's head, and the placement of Link's ear. NOW I am satisfied. :D

In reply to Talent-Bunny, its fan art, its just that JereduLevenin's art style completly matches Skyward Swords'. Comment on Picture: Did you even draw the official artwork? And you are doing more for Nintendo? Do you word as the Nintendo artist? Because its really cool. BTW I noticed the Master Sword WITH Link's BLUE earings. Link has red earings by that point, because *spoilers* when Link is searching for the final flame, and passes Din's Silent Realm, Link obtains red Fireshield Earings, so by that point, Link has red earings for the rest of the game. But really, who cares! This is an excellent piece of artwork, Very well done!
